Delegation Program - SIGEP 2023

The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is once again organizing a COMPLIMENTARY trip to visit SIGEP 2023 in Rimini, ITALY. Show dates are January 21 - 25, 2023 and program dates will be announced shortly.

The SIGEP trade show is one of the world's most important exhibits in the artisan gelato, bakery, pastry, coffee and other food preparation equipment (see website). The event will also showcase the latest in furnishings, display cases and decorations, with over 1,250 exhibitors.  At the previous full edition in 20122, there were over 150,000 visitors and 1,200 exhibitors in over 1.3 million sq.ft.

This program is organized in partnership with the IEG Group- show organizers.

 
 

 Expenses Paid

For qualifying companies, the following travel expenses, including airfare, hotel, meals and ground transportation in Italy will be paid for by our Office and the show organizers: 

  • Round-trip airfare (coach-class) to/from USA- Bologna, Italy, with transfer to Rimini, Italy

  • Hotel in Rimini – 4 nights

  • Breakfast at the hotel and buffet lunch at the show

  • Ground transportation in Italy (to/from airport in Italy, hotel and trade show)

  • Entrance show VIP badge with exclusive access to international buyers lounge equipped with wifi, computers, printers, photocopies, coat check, coffee bar, and general assistance

*Please note, attendance at the show is required while taking part in the delegation.

 
 

TRIP ITINERARY 2022

 Program Dates:

January 19: Departure from USA to Italy

January 20: Arrival in Bologna, Italy - Transfer to Rimini and Hotel check-in

January 21: Visit show 10am to 5pm - Meetings with Exhibitors at their booths

January 22: Visit show 10am to 5pm

January 23: Visit show 10am to 5pm

January 24: Departure from Italy to USA*

*Travel dates may be extended, inquire at chicago@ice.it

 

 
 

Pre-Scheduled B2B Meetings:

Participants will have the chance to visit the show over a 3-day period.  The program provides the opportunity to pre-schedule 10 (ten) B2B meetings with Italian companies of your choice 

You may choose which companies to meet via an online web platform, and you will be asked to sign up for 10 meetings with Italian companies.  This will allow a more efficient use of your time as your will be given priority to meet with the Italian companies at their booths (NO specific times will be set). You will have ample time to visit the show outside the 10 meetings.
